For those of you that find it hard to get into the holiday spirit with shorts-clad tourists roller blading by your window with ice cream cones in hand, consider the following:
From November 15th until January 21st, you too can attempt Blades of Glory-esque stunts at an open air ice skating facility. Nestled among skyscrapers and historical landmarks, Pershing Square Ice Center is open seven days a week. Admission is a low $6 and skate rentals are $2. Parking ranges from $4-$6
After all, the Rockefeller Center is so last century.
