Get Together with The Breakups
Let me say that I am usually bored listening to one bands entire album.
Most of the songs sound mostly the same and I tend to loose interest.
Not so with The Break Ups, a local LA band that haunts joints like Mr T's and Spaceland.
Dizzy Land takes you on a Beatles-esque trip through a freaktastic carnivale while Let's See What Happens has a flirty and mysterious tone. Just Like Philo Farnsworth references the first inventor of the television (we know because we looked it up) and features floaty, Elliot Smith-like vocals.

Blame the madness, or rather, thank for the madness, bandmates Jake, Jillinda, James, Blake and Phil at their next show at Spaceland on December 13th. The new album, Eat Your Heart Out, will be released in December. Checks it out!
