Kate Nash's Diary

She has been compared to the brit-chick who discovered her demos on Myspace, Lily Allen, and if Bridget Jones Diary had an indie-pop soundtrack, Kate Nash would have been a perfect candidate for a majority of the songs.

Speaking of diary's, a majority of her songs read like a very interesting one. Snappy lyrics wax reminiscent
of plans to "accidentally" bump into a crush and confronting "dickhead" ex boyfriends infiltrate others that offer healing words for breakup wounds and moving on to kissing new prospects.

Although her UK album, Made of Bricks, won't be released in the US until the New Year, you can tap your toes to music on her Myspace page here: Kate Nash.  While this blogzina owes Merry Happy for helping her through a few heartaches earlier this year,  the new single, Pumpkin Soup, gets us dancing around as we get ready for a night out.

We defy you not to love her!
Check out her show at the Troubadour on January 14th!
