Slated for its Debut: The Union is Ready for its Close Up!

We are SOOOO excited!

The Valencia Group has announced that its latest restaurant/lounge venture, The Union, will be opening its doors sometimes this Spring/Summer!

Located in the historic Union Building, the 10,000 s.f loungaurant (yes I made a word up) Union will retain its 1920's charm and art deco glamour in both its decor and atmosphere.  While the 200-seater restaurant and patio areas are located on the ground floor below the new 91 unit loft project, the lounge will be "hidden" in its converted bank vault area below.

The Union Bank Building possesses such grand beauty and interesting features that we knew it would make a great restaurant and lounge, and we’re committed to preserving historically significant elements of the building,” said John Valencia, Senior Partner of The Valencia Group.

Self described as "an elegant, fine dining establishment with a cozy, warm ambiance and live, top-flight, cross-genre entertainment", we are envisioning a larger, more restauranty and dare-I-say more sexy version of The Edison Bar.  Expect eclectic dishes designed by Master Chef, Jeffrey Nimer, and sexy signature cocktails by Bar Manager, Andrew Millet.

We can't wait!
