Here's Looking at You, Dresden Lounge!
According to weather.com, gray skies are here again!
There's nothing better then dashing through the rain and cozying up with a dirty martini and some Sinatra at the Dresden Lounge, just like Bret McKenzie andVince Vaughn. But don't get me wrong. While the DRESDEN LOUNGE may occasionally play host to hollywood personalities, this is not an upscale, trendy bar.
To begin with, the decor dates all the way back to the 1940s. Ahhh...breathe in the smell of cork on the walls and dark wood booths. On any given night, expect to see an unusually eclectic crowd of jeans clad hipsters, leather clad bikers and ladies in little black dresses.

Marty and Elaine are the famous and stunningly antique duo that have been wowing audiences since the early 80s with their lounge versions of modern pop songs as well as the classics. Although they play 6 nights a week, we highly recommend the open mike night on Tuesdays, when every-day-folk croon delicious ballads from the 1940s.
But don't call it karaoke. These plain folk can really belt it out and do so with the accompaniment of Marty and Elaine's drums, keyboard and cello.
So get there early for a booth and be ready to have I left my heart in San Francisco breakmy your heart all over again.
