Let's get one thing straight: When you're rolling through the streets of Inglewood and trying to pretend like you're not locking your car doors when you hit a red light..yeah. Hollywood Park is not actually in Hollywood.
We kid, we kid! (Not really-it is in Inglewood.) Hwood Park is pretty and fun! We spent many a warm summer evening living it up placing $3 bets on horses with funny names and noshing on dollar beers and hot dogs!
Trust us. Nothing impresses friends more then announcing a trip to Hollywood Park and, oh yeah...beers are on me tonight, guys!
Oh the follies you shall have! There's even a casino attached, just in case you don't want to stop gambling! HOORAY!
Opening day is this Friday with a special performance from Blues Traveler. Admission into Hollywood Park is only $7. Check their calender for more free shows happening every Friday throughout the summer such as The Smithereens, Flock of Segals and Berlin.
