It's Getting Hot in Here...So Take off All Your Clothes...or Go Outside Somewhere...

Not to sound like a crazy weather forecaster, but this weekend's gonna be a SCORCHER!
Fo realz.

So turn off Turner and Hooch, get your ass to the beach, and then frolic tonight at one of our favourite outdoor hotspots. (get it?) Besides the obvious ones (Elevate, The Standard downtown, The Abbey),  here are a few more of our favourite outdoor bars and restaurants:

Blue Velvet
750 S. Garland Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90014
213.239.0061

Reasons to love Blue Velvet? Let me count the ways:
1. Poolside outdoor lounge with fire pit, city view and great cocktails.
2. Uni-sex bathroom. Sounds a little creepy, but let us assure you it is all hotness!
3. Eat or drink there and their shuttle will take you to any other bar located downtown...for free!
4. Swanky, ultra modern restaurant and bar with weird "pit-like" seating!

Backyard at the W Hotel
930 Hilgard Avenue
Westwood, CA 90024
310.208.8765

We love them because they let "non-guests" use their pool during the weekdays.
We also love them because they have lounge music by the pool and bar area all weekend.
Mojito's are a must, as is looking swanky.

Terrace Bar at the Sunset Tower
8358 Sunset Blvd.
Hollywood, CA
323.654.7100

Pricey as it may be*, it has one of the best views of LA we've seen.
Their cocktails are gorgeous and the Truffle Oil Fries will leave you salivating for days.

Bonaventure Hotel Downtown
404 S. Figueroa St.
Los Angeles, CA 90071
213.624.1000

Huge hotel. Really. Big. Also, amazing rooftop bar! Pretty lights. Head there for drinks after you've dined in their revolving restaurant, the Bonavista Lounge!

*As in a $275 birthday dinner for 2 from a guilty ex-boyfriend. Hooray for guilt!
