Feeling Bookish?
You know how sometimes you wake up in the morning without a hangover and really glad the cops didn't arrest you and your friend because they watched as you stumbled* out the front door of a bar and then jaywalked right in front of them?
Then you wake up in the morning feeling like a better person and decide to finally do your dishes. Still feeling that good, but strange buzz, you head to the nearest coffee shop to flaunt your reading skills, because nothing gives a better emotional I'm-sticking-my-tongue-out-at-you then reading a huge book in front of a bunch of hipsters on laptops.
Then you realize-you have no book!

What to do?
Head to the UCLA campus for The LA (not good) Times Festival of Books! It's happening today and tomorrow.
There are over 100,000 attendees, A-list authors doing readings and signings, and some other booky type stuff happening in booths and on stages.
Later in the night, if you're still feeling sassy and bookish, head downtown to the LIBRARY BAR.
Cozy and inviting, they have a thoroughly stocked bar, jukebox and library*.
Even though the books are more for decoration, it's always nice to be seen reading something literary whilst sipping a Cosmo. It makes you look smart and not so drunk!

*stumbled because of your shoes, not because of the booze
*Look inside the holy bible. If what we left there the other night is still there then...well, it's still there.
