Meet Your New Meat Market!

Dearest Readers,

We use the term "meat market" in only the most clever and pure of senses.

You see, there were once two friends that were very, very good, but wanted to be very, very bad.
They wanted to go out and have fun and meet new people.
Someone suggested they check out the new Santa Monica hangout, SOUTH.

The 2 friends scoffed, thinking SOUTH was only but a mere restaurant named after a direction.

Alas, the friends were very surprised to find that South was an extremely happening bar that was packed wall-to-wall with hotties!  The hotties were mostly mid-20 to 30-somethings, so the friends were able to hang out without the kiddie dramz.

South served up their drinks like lovely, metaphoric trees: strong and tall!
South served up their food like a a San Francisco native: crusty and fried, but never bland!

The friends agreed that SOUTH brought some much needed positive* southern stereotype to LA: hospitality, delicious food and fun without pretension!

They agreed to return to South again to watch "the game" on one of the many plasma tvs, have a chill dinner on the patio, or just to hustle a beer pong match.

Then, they drank happily ever after in their new found meat market.
HOORAY!

*As opposed to the negative southern stereotypes: carpeted bathrooms, chronic use of the word "ya'll", the realism of having a cousin-husband and Britney Spears.
