In My Day, We had to Walk 10 Miles to get a Slurpee...and They Were Made of Wood!
This Friday, July 11th, 7-Eleven will celebrate its 81st birthday by handing out Free Slurpees!
We wonder if in honor of old age, they'll make them all gray and butterscotch flavored...mmmm...just like old people*!

This falsity started back in late 1960s as a result of the elderly handing out Werther's Originals to small children.
In reality, old people actually taste nothing like butterscotch! In fact, they taste more like regret and sickness!
